"PUBLIC PRAYER"

My replies appear under the respondent's comments in blue text and are prefaced by my initials (MB). (R) My sentiments exactly! It is the sheer arrogance of the Xians that have my undies in a twist on the religion issue. Your essay is a perfect example. I am so sick of hearing that we are a Christian Nation. The Constitution goes out of its way to tell folks we are anything but. (MB) Absolutely! There's a historical revisionist movement afoot to try to convince people that this nation was founded as a Xian nation with Xian principles. That is almost 180 degrees opposed to the truth. Given all of the surviving writings of the Founding Fathers that conclusively refute the revisionists, it's amazing that the revisionists view is taken seriously at all by more than a few pathetically lost souls.
