"ADULTERY"

Boldfaced statements are parts of the original essay (or a subsequent reply) to which the respondent has directed his comments.

Italicized/emphasized comments prefaced by (R) are those of the respondent and are presented unedited.

My replies appear under the respondent's comments in blue text and are prefaced by my initials (MB).

(R) I do agree that there is a vast "grey" area when it comes to adultery. But, what if the person who is attempting adultery, is being dishonest/taking advantage of a person? Shouldn't both parties understand clearly each others intentions before commiting the act; the same as signing a contract?
(MB) Yes, they most certainly should. Dishonesty or attempting to take advantage of another person is a disgrace no matter what the perpetrator is attempting to accomplish. Any relationship should always be based upon a mutual understanding between the involved persons.
